iSquared Giving (iSG) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Austin, Texas. We are committed to philanthropy education, engagement, and agency. Our mission is to inspire and enable more informed and intentional (i²) generosity by all, in all forms.
We bridge the gap between the desire to contribute and the reality of finite resources by educating, engaging, and empowering people of all backgrounds—particularly donors and prospects—to plan for and practice diverse and purposeful giving. Further, by equipping individuals to evaluate their giving experience and impact, we help them refine their approach and discover the joy of making a difference. Ultimately, through smart giving, we can tangibly shape a better world and realize personal fulfillment even with modest means.
Note on Target Audience: While our website is publicly accessible and the iSG is accountable to the public, we prioritize engaging past and current donors while identifying college students and professionals with advanced degrees as key prospects. The former can be reached through nonprofit partnerships, whereas these advanced-degree segments demonstrate a higher capacity and propensity for grassroots philanthropic engagement.

College students often have limited disposable income, but they are uniquely positioned to engage in non-financial forms of giving at any time and build toward significant financial contributions in the years following graduation. The iSG survey aims to inspire these undergraduates to begin planning for diverse, purposeful giving early in their lives. Similarly, working professionals with advanced degrees—who may face their own resource constraints—will benefit from our curated knowledge and evaluation tools to measure and maximize the impact of their philanthropic efforts.
