philanthropy engagement
We invite college students to participate in our giving goal-setting survey, and we report findings overall, by demographics, and across institutions. In addition, we carry out donor stewardship studies to advance the sector and provide data support to help nonprofits boost donor retention.
iSG Giving Goal-Setting Survey
We design and administer a survey, assessing the charitable goals of college students worldwide. While these students often have limited disposable income, they are uniquely positioned to engage in non-financial giving at any time and build toward significant financial contributions in the years following graduation.
Currently under development, the iSG survey project fosters a culture of strategic generosity by inspiring and empowering undergraduates to begin planning for diverse and purposeful giving early in their lives. The resulting data serve as the basis for research reports published on our website.
We believe early, intentional planning is the foundation of meaningful action. By participating in the survey, undergraduate students establish specific giving goals that align with their core values and capacity. Ultimately, this empowers the next generation of donors to direct limited resources toward the causes they value most, maximizing the potential for high-impact philanthropy.
