We strive to promote a culture of strategic generosity by inviting people to participate in our giving goal-setting survey. We also partner with nonprofits to leverage data to boost donor retention and conduct donor stewardship studies to reveal current practices at nonprofits and provide data to help nonprofits strengthen donor loyalty.
iSG Giving Goal-Setting Survey (standalone or in partnership with higher ed.)
We design and administer an international survey to assess giving practices and charitable goals later in life. The prioritized survey respondents include college students, donors, and well-educated prospects. The resulting data will serve as the basis for iSG survey reports to be published on our website. Currently under development, the iSG survey project aims to promote a culture of strategic generosity by encouraging active involvement in philanthropy.
We believe early, intentional planning is the foundation of meaningful action. While undergraduates often have limited disposable income, they are uniquely positioned to build toward significant financial contributions in the years following graduation. Mobilizing college students to plan for giving early in their lives is essential to cultivating the next generation of philanthropists.

Participating in the survey will help college students establish specific giving goals that align with their core values and capacity. Ultimately, it will empower the next generation of donors to direct limited resources toward the causes they value most, maximizing the potential for high-impact philanthropy.
We believe survey participation will heighten awareness around giving. Combined with open access to our curated resources and/or independent self-directed learning, it will inspire and enable more people to plan for or refine their giving, eventually practicing diverse and purposeful giving.
